2. My connection to modernmusix is very slow. Why is this?
   If the connection to modernmusix is very slow, there may be many reasons: At peak periods in particular, the access provider, for example, (ISP = Internet-Service-Provider) is working to capacity. Further decisive factors are the local settings of the user's computer and the quality of the lines involved. For the server locations, modernmusix uses doubly secured internet connections. Should a server or a connection fail at modernmusix, a second server or connection is always functioning and ready to catch the "inrush" of data even if many users use modernmusix simultaneously. modernmusix places great emphasis on minimal loading times and a consistently functioning system.
3. Which formats do modernmusix offer for sale?
   modernmusix provides audio and sheet music files:
   
   • audio (sound file): aac 320kbit/s and mp3 surround 320kbit/s.
   • score (sheet music file): pdf.
4. With which operating systems can I use modernmusix?
   The repertoire of modernmusix consists of aac, mp3(5.1) and pdf-files and is therefore compatible with Linux, MAC and PC.
5. Safety Guidelines
   From the moment of login, all data traffic takes place with an SSL-encryption, thereby securing all data traffic from access by unauthorized persons or institutions.

   No, the membership with modernmusix itself is free of charge. modernmusix does not require a basic fee or a monthly minimum turnover. Contents or products subject to a charge are only charged if the member has put them in the basket and has completed the purchase process.
3. Is there a minimum contract period?
   As a "buyer", registered members are able to cancel their membership at any time. For cooperation partners, the individual contract notice periods and conditions shall apply.

2. Why do I have to read and accept the gtc?
   In order to avoid confusion, please regard the general terms and conditions (gtc) along with the privacy statements contained therein. These can be found under [general terms and conditions] in the footer (at the bottom of the page) or within the registration window. When you have read and accepted the terms, please click on the white box beside “I have read and accept the general terms and conditions” and a checkmark will appear. 3. Why do I have to choose a username and provide my email address?
   With a username, you may determine how you wish to be addressed. A welcome email as well as confirmation emails following purchases and credit balance recharges will be sent to the email address you provide.
   Note: Choose a password that others are not able to easily figure out. As a general rule: The more complicated, the more secure. Keep your password PRIVATE!
4. Which characters may I use for my username?
   The username may contain:
   • Digits: 0, 1, 2, 3, ... , 9
   • Letters: A, a, B, b, C, c, ... , Z, z
   Please keep in mind when choosing a username:
   • The username must contain at least six characters!
   • The username must not contain any blanks or special characters!
   • Hence do not select e.g. hyphens or minus signs!
5. Can the username be subsequently changed?

2. Is login secure?
   Login as well as all subsequent contact with modernmusix is secure as all data transfer is TLS-encrypted.
   Explanation: TLS stands for 'Transport Layer Security'. This is a network protocol that encrypts and therefore secures the data transfer between computer and webpage. modernmusix further recommends the use of a current web browser e.g. Mozilla Firefox » or Safari ».
3. Why should I login at modernmusix?
   modernmusix may be visited without registration or login, however access will be limited: Download and upload functions are not possible without logging in. In order to log in, you must be registered at modernmusix.com.
4. Why am I not able to login? You have already successfully registered but are unable to login? This could be due to many reasons:
   • Incorrect login information entered: Simply enter username and password again paying close attention to spelling as well as upper and lower case letters.
   • Failed Purchase - Your access has been disabled: If you have ordered products but, for any reason, have not paid the bill (e.g. due to booking cancellation etc.), your access will be denied until the case has been clarified.
   • Cookies: Your browser settings must be set to allow cookies.
5. What happens if I forget my username and/or password?
   In the case that you forget your login details, you can request them via email by clicking [forgot password] in the sidebar.

1. How can I pay at modernmusix?
   In order to e.g. make purchases through modernmusix, it is necessary to be registered and logged in. Payment is to be made exclusively through prepaid credit. If the amount payable cannot be covered by the existing credit balance, a top up of credit will enable the continuation of purchase. The top up of credit itself is processed securely and reliably via PayPal.
2. How does the price system work at modernmusix?
   With pricing, a differentiation is made between audios (recordings) and scores (sheet music).
   audio
   Every commenced five-minute unit costs one Euro (1 €).
   • Example 1: An audio with a length of 3:02 costs 1 €.
   • Example 2: An audio with a length of 6:54 costs 2 €.
   With bundles the price is calculated based on the total playing time.
   • Example 3: If the two audios mentioned above would be offered as a bundle, the total playing time of 9:56 would result in the price of 2 €.  (If bought separately, they would have cost 3 €).
   score
   Every commenced five-minute unit costs five Euros (5 €).
   • Example 4: A score with a length of 3:02 costs 5 €.
   • Example 5: A score with a length of 6:54 costs 10 €.

   The price is comprised of value-added tax, rights holders claims (label, publisher, artist), payment service provider (currently PayPal), collecting societies (e.g. GEMA) as well as the operator of modernmusix for expenses and technology.
5. Are there hidden costs?
   No. In the basket, the individual prices will be added up to a total price. When downloading, additional costs independent from modernmusix may emerge depending on internet connection.
6. How can I pay? Through cooperation with PayPal, modernmusix provides a secure and reliable means of monetary transaction. (Here the general terms and conditions of PayPal apply.) Following registration at modernmusix, only the account username and password are needed in order to make a purchase. PayPal provides buyers the possibility to transfer money and thus complete a purchase without disclosing any bank account details to a distributor (in this case modernmusix).

1. What is the difference between bundle and cycle?
   Even though there is a certain similarity in how bundles and cycles are created, there is a fundamental difference in nature: Cycles are works that consist of many parts as, for example, an opera: Each act and/or scene is a part of the whole and together they build the cycle “opera”. A bundle on the other hand, is a product: the compilation of one or more singles (individual works and/or cycles) by the respective right holder as is the case of a conventional CD for example.
2. How can I download bundles and cycles?
   Multi-part articles such as bundles and cycles will be downloaded as ZIP files and subsequently extracted. Thereby, you will receive a folder containing all parts.
